The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday (February 15) created history once again. ISRO launched a record 104 satellites on board a single rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.


After embarking a historical day today, bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan congratulated scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation. The actor took to Twitter to share his excitement, saying, “CONGRATULATIONS .. !!! ISRO for the launch of 103 satellites from one PSLV .. a world record ! HOPE ONE DAY WE LAND ON MOON !”

This is the highest number of satellites ever launched in a single mission. Several other Bollywood stars too congratulated the Space Research Organisation.
